Bit Off More Than He Could Chew Canvas Print

This little white breasted nuthatch bit off more than he could chew. We feed our birds home made peanut butter suet that they seem to prefer over the store bought version. This was a bit much for him though and although he breifly picked it up it was dropped on the ground since it was bigger than him!

A little about me: I was born and raised in California and Oregon so being outdoors was always an important part of my life. My family and I used to camp all up and down the California and Oregon Coast as soon as I was old enough to camp at the age of 4. The beauty of nature was a form of inspiration and healing to me and still is to this day. On our camping trips I made it a point to talk with the rangers at the visitor's centers and to learn about the native wildlife and plant life and even insect life of an area. Whenever I saw a new bird it was an exciting quest to find the name of the bird in our bird guide.
