A beautiful calm clear autumn day on the Oregon Coast as seen from the top of Cape Perpetua is just south of Yachats and north of Florence Oregon. There is a trail for the hardy to hike up but there is also a road to the top for those who are not able to hike to the top.

A little about me: I was born and raised in California and Oregon so being outdoors was always an important part of my life. My family and I used to camp all up and down the California and Oregon Coast as soon as I was old enough to camp at the age of 4. The beauty of nature was a form of inspiration and healing to me and still is to this day. On our camping trips I made it a point to talk with the rangers at the visitor's centers and to learn about the native wildlife and plant life and even insect life of an area. Whenever I saw a new bird it was an exciting quest to find the name of the bird in our bird guide.
