The morning sun colors a fog ocean in soft oranges and lights up the fall foliage overlooking a peaceful valley to the east. This view is one of the many gorgeous overlook views in the Shenandoah National Park.

A little about me: I was born and raised in California and Oregon so being outdoors was always an important part of my life. My family and I used to camp all up and down the California and Oregon Coast as soon as I was old enough to camp at the age of 4. The beauty of nature was a form of inspiration and healing to me and still is to this day. On our camping trips I made it a point to talk with the rangers at the visitor's centers and to learn about the native wildlife and plant life and even insect life of an area. Whenever I saw a new bird it was an exciting quest to find the name of the bird in our bird guide.
