Description
This Luray, Virginia landmark was constructed in 1937 and is known as the Singing Tower but also is known as the Bell Brown Northcott Memorial. It was constructed as memorial to Colonel T.C. Northcott's wife. The tower contains 47 bells and is 117 feet tall. Free recitals are given in the Spring, Summer and Fall. This photo was taken on a beautiful July evening as the sun set behind the Massanutten range of the blue ridge mountains.
